About me.
I am a qualified therapist and registered member of the BACP (The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
Sometimes problems can be difficult to think or even talk about. I strongly believe having trust in another to explore how we’re feeling can bring us reassurance, insight and increase our self worth. I strive to provide a warm, non-judgemental and confidential space in which you can explore any difficulties you might be facing and to say how things really are for you. What you choose to share is always up to you.
I have experience supporting adults and young people with a range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, relationship difficulties and low self-esteem.
As well as my private practice I currently volunteer for the charity Cruse Bereavement and have extensive experience volunteering in a secondary school as a school counsellor.
I attend regular clinical supervision and CPD (continued professional development)
I hold full professional insurance.
I have spent many years working as a holistic therapist and recognise the importance of seeing the mind and body as a whole system. Research has shown how stress that is unmanaged can have an impact on our physical health and well-being.
